What Palin Did Friday Night

What Palin Did Friday Night.

Interesting comments from Bill Kristol on Palin’s Friday night activities. The article he mentions from Ben Korn in the NY Sun is also worth a read.

Many More Now Following Mosque Controversy – And Don’t Like It

Many More Now Following Mosque Controversy – And Don’t Like It.

The most telling thing for me is the huge divide between the opinion of the political/ruling class and the average citizen.

“Sixty-eight percent (68%) of the Political Class, however, favor building the mosque near Ground Zero. Seventy-seven percent (77%) of Mainstream voters are opposed.”

I’m seeing this split more and more on an increasing number of issues. We have a real problem when the people we elect to lead us no longer share our views on important issues. I urge everyone to put party aside, carefully examine the positions and records of the candidates and vote for the person that most closely reflects your values and views. We and no one else are responsible for this mess.

Chris Christie: The Scourge of Trenton – Daniel Foster – National Review Online

I do love me some Chris Christie! Sadly, I don’t get the sense that the current Republican nominee for Governor  in PA is made of the same stern stuff. Do you think we could get NJ to loan him to us for awhile?
