BOOM, Taste My Nightstick!

Sorry Governor Palin. The line from your surprise appearance on Conan opposite Bill Shatner is just too good not to use as a title for this post.

Hot Air has the details from today’s ruling in Florida by Federal Judge Vinson, ruling Obamacare unconstitutional.

The White House vows to appeal. Take your best shot buddy. Dead law walking!

Jimmy Carter Part Deux

Check out this excellent post at Gateway Pundit on our Dear Leader’s fumbling of the crisis in Egypt. The thought of Egypt becoming another “Iran” is frighting.

Jimmy Carter gave us the current regime in Iran and all its horrors with his fecklessness. Obama appears to on the cusp of matching Carter, this time with Israel’s largest neighbor. God watch over and project the Jewish State.

I just hope and pray no Americans become hostages. We don’t need another “disaster in the desert” with our service men and women dying on some ill-planned and desperate rescue mission.

Land Shark

Sharks Are Not Misunderstood Dolphins, and Islam Is Not a Religion of Peace.

Kevin DuJan of the “American Thinker” pens this fine piece on the so called “religion of peace” and the total idiocy of the left-wing media’s reporting on Islamic terror.

Here is a one of the better paragraphs from the column:

“When is the last time you saw MSNBC devote hour-long news specials to the parents, friends, teachers, and other relatives of Muslim terrorists responsible for mass murders and assorted bombings?  When was the last time CNN scheduled an in-depth look into the Koran and the very clear recipes for murder and mayhem contained in its instructive pages?  Probably about the last time the Discovery Channel set aside a night of Shark Week to explore the familial relations of the deep’s apex predators and why their behavior is influenced by blowfish with chalkboards or barracudas who put targets on treasure maps at the bottom of the sea.”

Krauthammer’s Not Convinced

Dr. K disses Obama’s lame SOTU speech!

Here are a couple of my favorite paragraphs:

“Obama seemed impressed, however, that it would produce $400 billion in savings over 10 years. That’s an average of $40 billion a year. The deficit for last year alone was more than 30 times as much. And total federal spending was more than 85 times that amount. A $40 billion annual savings for a government that just racked up $3 trillion in new debt over the past two years is deeply unserious. It’s spillage, a rounding error.”

“It’s as if Obama is daring the voters – and the Republicans – to prove they really want smaller government. He’s manning the barricades for Obamacare, and he’s here with yet another spending – excuse me, investment – spree. To face down those overachieving Asians, Obama wants to sink yet more monies into yet more road and bridge repair, more federally subsidized teachers – with a bit of high-speed rail tossed in for style. That will show the Chinese.”

Preach It Gov!

Gov. Christie to public employees: ‘Don’t be angry at the first guy that came here and told you the truth’ | Mark Hemingway | Beltway Confidential | Washington Examiner.

I do love me some Chris Christie. Watch the video!

This man has a spine and no fear about speaking the truth. How refreshing!

Wouldn’t it be great if we would see something similar at the Federal level. Sadly, our current Federal Executive pales in comparison. Hopefully our new Governor (Tom Corbett, PA) is watching, taking notes and following suit.

Grow Up People

Why Sarah Palin Drives Them Wild – HUMAN EVENTS.

Excellent column by Jedediah Bila at Human Events. Another good one for all my Palin hating friends out there. Come on, admit it. You suffer from a severe case of PDS (Palin Derangement Syndrome). It’s irrational and sad. You guys just can’t stop talking about her. She’s living rent-free in your heads!

Here are a couple of paragraphs from the article to get you started.

“To the business-as-usual politician and/or media hack, she’s simply maddening. So, they respond by saying she’s not smart enough. (Translation: She doesn’t speak our pretentious language.) Or they claim she’s too controversial. (Translation: She stands by principle, even when it’s unpopular.) Or they declare she’s not presidential. (Translation: She doesn’t play by our rules, and that scares the crap out of us.) Or they insist that her TV series proves she’s not a serious politician. (Translation: If she pulls a Reagan, we’re screwed. And why didn’t I get offered a TLC show?) . . .

. . . But to the insecure, to those who feel the need to tear you down in order to lift themselves up, Palin is an absolute nightmare. Because she’s “not going to sit down…not going to shut up.” Because in the face of vicious attacks and death threats, she continues to prove that she’s bigger and better than those who play dirty. She continues to prove that her family and her faith are her anchors. And she continues to prove that her commitment to principle is impervious to their constant digs.”

Read the whole thing and grow up already!

If It’s SO Great . . .

. . . why are so many companies and unions asking for and receiving waivers from Obamacare from the White House?

Fine for thee but not for me.

Repeal this Obamanation ASAP. And the Dem’s wonder why they got thrown out of the House.
