Wisconsin in a Nutshell

18 Feb

Here is an excellent synopsis of the current situation in Wisconsin.

The more I see of this the less respect I have for state worker and teacher unions who somehow think they should not sacrifice like the private sector has in the last few years. How dare they demand pay raises (or no pay cuts), free health care and pension benefits when the people who pay the taxes required to fund their lively hood have had their wages cut, are paying more for their health care and in many cases have stopped their contributions to their retirement accounts because the just can’t afford it anymore. I speak from personal experience.

I’m trying very hard to keep a lid on this but it’s really starting to make my blood boil. There is a huge clash coming in this country between public sector unions and the citizens who’s taxes fund them. We outnumber them, it’s just a matter of time. They can join us in sacrificing to keep their jobs and local governments solvent or they can lose their jobs like so many of the people who support them with their tax dollars have over the last two years. The free ride is over. You work for me and not the other way around. Get with the program or go suck someone else’s blood.

Oh, and President Obama with all due respect, BUTT OUT! How dare you use your position to support the rabble in the streets of Madison and around the country who are in the process of bleeding the populace dry.
