Mind Numbing and Blindingly Stupid or Worse

15 Jan

As Obama Dithers… Canadian PM Harper to Travel to China to Sell Oil | The Gateway Pundit.

I can not believe that this charade continues. No one can be this stupid.

I am left to conclude that our President does not want to create 20,000 or more construction jobs. Does not want to increase the number of jobs in our refineries on the Gulf Coast. Does not want to reduce our dependence for energy on a part of the world that considers us infidels and wishes us dead.

Since I seriously doubt that the man is stupid (57 states and Navy corpsman not withstanding). The only two other options are an irrational fear of his greenie-meanie base or a deeply rooted desire to see the United States economically harmed. I fear the latter

John, your wisdom and insight are appreciated. You are spot-on that Obama is smart, deviously so. Please consider one other option for a person who does not seem to have a moral compass.

How do you characterize someone who loves the limelight?
What would you label an individual who covets the center of attention?
What motivates a person who uses money and resources that are not his own for self-indulgences?
What are your considerations of someone who takes more vacations for himself, indulges in his hobbies (golf and basketball) more than any other Chief-of-State?
What comes to mind when the Frist Lady mirrors this behavior with more extravagence?
What term identifies a person who looks for the “teachable moment”, but turns anger when others disagree?

Here’s something that comes to mind:

Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance and a deep need for admiration. Those with narcissistic personality disorder believe that they’re superior to others and have little regard for other people’s feelings. But behind this mask of ultra-confidence lies a fragile self-esteem, vulnerable to the slightest criticism.
