Tell Me a Story

Obama, Story-Teller – Victor Davis Hanson – National Review Online.

The good Dr. Hanson launches another gem of column.

If our President had any self awareness or a conscience, he’d be deeply embarrassed and ashamed. Sadly, I don’t think the man possesses either character trait. Our establishment media has not held him to account (as they would a conservative President) and are in fact willing participants in one of the greatest political scams of the modern era.

Progressive existentialism writ large!

Are We Being Governed By a Tyrant?

DHS suspends immigration agreements with Arizona in wake of Court ruling « Hot Air.

The President of the United States is not free to choose which laws he will enforce and which laws to ignore. He is bound by the oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution and enforce the laws.

This move to sever immigration law enforcement agreements with AZ in conjunction with the hot line the DOJ just opened for people to report AZ law enforcement officers who do ask for papers is one of the most under-handed things I could imagine an administration doing after winning the case in the Supreme Court. This is not just spiking the ball, this is doing a prolonged end zone dance and then openly taunting the opposing team.

We are not being led, we are being dictated to. This Administration does not deserve a second term!

The Media is Called Out by One of Their Own

Former TV Producer On MSNBC WaWa Edits: ‘I’m Done’ Denying Liberal Bias | Mediaite.

A former TV News producer “gets religion” and finds the courage to acknowledge what many of us in the blogosphere have maintained for years. Schools of Journalism have long since ceased being a training ground for “reporters” and have become factories for the production of “repeaters”, trained to spew the progressive party line, disguised as “reporting the news”.

To my friends on the left and in the middle who continue to get your news from the New York Times, Washington Post, MSNBC, CNN et al, WAKE UP, if you are able! Our National Media Establishment has failed the American people and have been doing so since the 1960’s. If you doubt me, ask yourself why you are just now becoming aware of the “Fast and Furious” scandal while those of us on the Right have known about it for almost 18 months.

“Blind Leading the Blind” and/or “Dumb and Dumber”

New York Times ponders the decline of NBC News.

New York Times commenting on the decline of NBC News betrays such a startling lack of self-awareness and unwillingness to acknowledge the 800 pound gorilla in the room that it boggles the mind.

These people (the establishment media) really are this blind and dumb!

Why Fast and Furious is Important

Why ‘Fast and Furious’ matters –

Michael Walsh of the New York Post does an excellent job of explaining why Fast and Furious matters a great deal more than the National Media would have you believe.

Watergate was the cover up of bungled burglary. Fast and Furious is the cover up of who is responsible for a program that resulted in the death of hundreds of Mexican citizens and at least 2 US law enforcement officers. At this rate, Obama will go down as worse than both Carter and Nixon. Quiet an achievement if you ask me.
